Individual therapy is a process between a therapist and an individual. With the therapist's help, the individual is guided to explore issues that impact the emotions concerning them.  The goal is to develop helpful coping strategies and make healthy changes in behaviour patterns that contribute to the individual’s symptoms. 

Merrill is certified in a number of therapeutic approaches to treat symptoms such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief and loss, relationship conflict, emotional regulation and trauma.
